The mystery tower

The even side of the street showing the tower.
Some of the old photographs of Morritt Avenue show a large tower on the even side of the street which is now long gone.

From the postcard photograph, the tower looks huge - quite a bit bigger than the towers on the houses at the top of the avenue and on numbers 22 and 24. It's clearly beyond number 12 but not so clear exactly where.

Some of the photographs of the avenue under construction, as viewed from Seacroft Hospital, show what appears to be the same tower, most likely on the roof of number 18.
